About Me

My name is Jasmine Hernandez and I am a full time fine artist from Downey, California.  Shortly after graduating high school in 2015, I decided to start on the path of cultivating my own art career by participating in local art shows and gaining clients through word of mouth. In 2023, I majored in graphic design to expand my artistic skillset into digital design.

For as long as I could remember, animals have been the subject of focus in my art. It started with sketching horses in my childhood to painting all kinds of animals in my adolescence. Each time I observe an animal, there are particular details such as anatomy and coloration that makes it different from others of the same species. For a pet owner, those little details are what makes their pet an individual and that is significantly important to them. That is why I strive to capture my client's pets accurately and with great care. 

When it comes to artistic mediums, acrylic painting is my main focus, but I also enjoy working with color pencil, charcoal, pastels, graphite, digital, and even fabric paint. The change of circumstances in 2020, has led me to expand my art into customizing face masks, tote bags, and a variety of other surfaces. The possibilities are endless, and I will always look forward to the next project.
